Remember, I am working on a BOM (book of me). I am making good progress on my 50 pages during my 50's goal and since being married for 25 years is a pretty big part of who I am, it needs to be included.
Hubby says he should write the journaling for this page since that is the only way the "truth" about the ball and chain of marriage will be recorded. Heh heh... yeah honey, I'll hold my breath waiting for you to do that for me.
I think we can all rest assured that it will be MY version of the truth that goes onto this page but I will not be showing the journaling. What I have to say isn't exactly top secret, but I don't care to have these thoughts on the Internet; so.... you will just have to imagine all the of witty clever insights into marriage that might be hidden on my journaling pull out.
The background of the embellishment is the Texture plate Stampin' Up! Backgrounds 1. I inked the plate with going gray and then ran it through the Big Shot with whisper white paper.
The "groom" is the Full Heart punch in basic gray and whisper white (trimmed for a shirt) and a grosgrain bow tie.
The "bride" is Full Heart punch in whisper white, dry embossed with the texture plate, and half pearls from the Pretties Kit.
The chain is the same as the ghost chain I showed you on Sunday. And the ball is the 1.25 circle punch with highlights from the white gel pen.
Marriage was cut on the Big Shot using the Naturally Serif decorative strip die. TIP: punch 1 inch circles and place a circle over each letter that you need. No sense cutting ALL those letters when you don't need them.
The ties that bind - was computer generated.
The flower is from the Build a Flower die with a button threaded with paper for the center.
But who are those two people in the photo with no wrinkles and no saggy chins? They look vaguely familiar...
congrats on 25 years...my Hubby and I celebrated ours yesterday. Love your designs..your punch creations are so amazing....I need to clear a spot and get copying your ideas! Blessings...and here's to many more happy years!

It's such an elegant way to make a wedding card...even WITH the ball and chain! LOL!
Thanks for the shout out!
Love it! 25 years - Awesome!!
