Out of Practice - makes me blue....

Yep, its really me.

FINALLY posting punch art after ?? years.....

I recently started scrapbooking a little bit which is LOADS of fun.  Toyed with the idea of trying to punch but eh... didn't excite me.  Then I got an email request and thought "oh, why not"

I am soooooooooooooooooooooo out of practice.  It makes me feel a bit blue.  Just like this requested smurf.

He looks a bit like a blue ELMO.  His eyes need to be narrower and his nose smaller but hey, I tried.  You can tweak him a bit - and give him some props to cover any bits you don't like. I'm happy I could figure out how to post this.

Its been years since I've even looked at a Stampin' Up! catalog so I don't even know what punches are current - I suspect lots of these are retired but maybe you have them deep in your stash...

Here's the how to help:

  • Hat - Full heart - trimmed by sticking in a circle punch
  • Head - 1 1/4 inch circle - trimmed by stick back in the same circle and just taking off a tiny sliver
  • Nose and ear (not shown) the wing from two step bird punch
  • Body - owl - ears and feet trimmed off
  • Pants - owl - feel off - trimmed by sticking in a circle punch
  • Hands - modern label - trimmed with circle (or oval punch)
  • Arms (and legs) - medium oval hole with two slivers punched beside it - toss the oval - keep the slivers
  • NOT SHOWN - brim of hat - large oval around small oval hole - giving you an oval ring - trim a piece of that
  • NOT SHOWN - eyes - circles - don't do what I did - it looks like Elmo - trim some circles down
  • mouth is drawn on
Edit:  Couldn't stand the Elmo Smurf - did a quick eye change shown on the right smurf below- better - I can live with you copying THIS one.....  (drew on eyebrows too - he needs them)

Hornets

Saw a plea for a hornet over on SCS so I jumped into action with this:

Body and wings - large ovals
head - small oval
eyes - small heart cut in half
Legs and antennae - wide heart to heart next to hole of the same (antennae need to be trimmed)

Stripes were just drawn in - lay an oval down, trace the edge, move & repeat - color between them

What she really wanted was a "brown hornet" and when I googled that I saw the old cartoon The Brown Hornet from the Fat Albert show - Hadn't thought of this Super Hero in decades!  But he screamed PUNCH ME, so I did:

I didn't "fine tune" him since I have no use for him - but maybe one of you will need him - or he will trigger another idea for someone.

His face is medium oval and 2 small ovals
Hair - small oval
Neck - word window
Kerchief - wide oval, small heart next to same hole
His shirt is the butterfly punch trimmed
Muscles and Sleeves are the medium oval
Gloves are narrow heart to heart and  1/2 inch circle at the ends of the modern label
Narrow waist is the Blossom Petal Punch
Shorts - 5 petal flower trimmed
Shoes - wide heart to heart
Legs - wide heart to heart next to same hole

Never Give Up!

Never Give Up!

This post title could be talking about the Mavs - Thunder playoff game last night, where the Mavs were down 15 points with less than 5 minutes to play and came back to win by 7 points in overtime... but it's not.   (GO MAVS!)

Never Give Up, in this case, refers to talented crafter Barbara Diane, who also happens to be a faithful Blink Blog reader and commenter.  She has not given up asking me to punch Snow White since I did the 7 Dwarfs.  I kept putting her off.  I tried referring her to this beautiful Snow White but she wanted one in "my" style.

Famous characters are hard because they have to be "just right" since everyone knows what they are supposed to look like.  Famous PRETTY characters are even HARDER because those attractive faces aren't exactly your basic punch shapes.  But Barbara Diane, for YOU,  DEAR YOU, I have attempted Snow White.

I picked this pose because my vision of her is standing in the forest singing to all the woodland creatures with birds landing on her outstretched arms.  Too many years since I watched the movie, but that is what I remember.

Face  - 1 inch circle - trimmed in slightly on one side (for cheek bone)
Hair - 1.25 inch circle and 1/2 inch circle
Bangs - 1/2 inch circle cut in half - cut edges are hidden under the headband
Headband - 1 inch circle near same hole, top of small heart for bow (middle drawn with marker)
Face - drawn on (don't laugh at my attempt)
Neck - word window
Collar - 1 3/8 inch circle - trimmed
Chest - medium oval
Bodice - Owl punch (yes, you read that right) - insert head end into bottom of the ornament punch to get pointed part at the waist - repunch foot end with 1 inch circle to get curved neckline
Strip on bodice - word window at edge of paper (super thin) - didn't attempt to adhere to front - wrapped the strip around the bodice and attached in the back
Skirt - wide oval
Sleeves - large oval, both ends repunched with 3/4 inch circle, then throw away bits of the brand new Blossoms Bouquet Triple Layer Punch (in Summer Mini) in red
Arms - wide heart to heart next to same hole
Hands - small heart to heart trimmed down on the thumb side

Hello Kitty - a "borrowed" punch art idea

When you lose your stampin' mojo, casing someone else's work is a great way to get back in business.  Well, that works for punching too.

This is NOT an original - I got it from Quiltmaniac46 on SCS right here and click HERE for her instructions.

I made a couple of adjustments but this is basically her Hello Kitty:

Here is what I used:
Dress - scallop circle - trimmed like hers
Head - wide oval - just like hers
Ears - narrow heart to heart
Shirt - small oval
Sleeves - medium oval cut in half to get 2
All paws - 1/2 inch circle
Face - drawn on  - just like hers
Bow center - itty bitty pack circle
Bow loops - 1/2 inch circle - trimmed

Rosie

Some of you will remember the Jetsons from the 60s.  Some from when it was reprised in the 80s.  Some of you might not have a clue about this character.

I am one of the original watchers and I loved Rosie the Robot Maid.  I loved the way the Jetsons loved her even though she was a little "out of date".

Since we are officially in SPRING now, I thought it might be nice to have Rosie come do some Spring Cleaning!

I'm happy to be back punchin'
And I actually put her on a decent background instead of scratch paper!
But I'm too lazy to type out the directions...

You can't have everything!

I will tell you that the owl punch is only used to get the tiny buttons on her outfit.
The new flower punch I call Feather Duster was used for the feather duster base and for Rosie's base
The hands started with a 3/4 circle for one and word window for the other but there is so much trimming - I don't know how to explain.

You'll have to figure out the rest.

Queen of Something...

Here goes another of those "I don't know why I made it" punch arts...

or should I have said it makes me WONDER why I made a villain from Wonderland?

The Queen of Hearts is pretty complex - like a 4.5 on a 5 point scale so don't try this as your first punch art creation.  I don't want you shouting "off with her head" if you get frustrated!

Parts:
Skirt - full hearts
Chest - wide oval in red, 1 inch circle in black
Sleeves - medium oval
Her right arm (left side) 1/2 inch circle, modern label repunched with circle from itty bitty pack
Her left arm (right side) medium oval and same hand as above
Collar - 2 large ovals and medium heart to heart
Face - 1  1/4 circle, 1 inch circle
Mouth - 1 inch circle trimmed
Teeth - 1 inch circle around 3/4 inch circle
Eyes - small heart
Tongue - small heart to heart
Crown - hole from scallop circle - trim toward the hole so you have points on top
Eyebrows - leaves from 2 step bird
Hair - 3 tails from 2 part bird, 1/2 inch circle. circle itty bitty pack, scrap of red

I can't remember what I grabbed for her nose but a leaf from the 2 step bird would work.

Operation

Christine Sowers sent a request for the character in the game "Operation" for a co-worker's card.  And here he is:
Not an exact replica but anyone who has ever played the game should get the idea.

I couldn't fit ALL the "parts" inside him.  I know I left off bread basket, tennis elbow, charlie horse and probably more.

He measures 5.25 inches tall so he will fit on a standard size card. (Barely!)

Basic body:
Body – wide oval
Arms – word window
Hands – ½ inch circle around modern label ends
Legs – modern label – trimmed to narrow at ankles and flatten on inside of legs
Feet – wide heart to heart – trimmed for toes
Neck – word window
Head – 1.25 circle
Hair – Full heart around 1 inch hole – trimmed at sideburns
Ears – wide heart to heart cut in ½ to get two
Eye white – small heart
Eye black – standard hole punch
Nose – word window repunched with same

I sponged some ink on for shading (cherry cobbler, I think)

Assembly photos:

Inside parts:

Adams apple – circle itty bitty punch back – trimmed with scissors, scrap stem
Broken heart – small heart to heart
Wishbone – small oval around word window hole – slot
Butterflies in Stomach – 2 small heart to heart – slot trimmed
Wrenched knee – circle from itty bitty punch pack around slot hole – slot
Knee bone connected to the ankle bone – small heart to heart and thin scrap
Writers cramp – slot – lead is from black marker and trimmed to point – eraser is tiny scrap

Slot punch is retired - use can substitute a tiny scrap of paper if you don't have it.

And another thing...

Another Seuss-ish thing.

THING TWO!

Here is a breakdown of the parts:
Hair - 2 scallop circles - repunched offset in scallop circle
Face - 1 inch circle (flatten a little on top) and small oval
Neck - 1/2 word window
Body - large oval
Collar - slot punch (retired - if you don't have it just use a strip of paper)
Arms - from oval ring (which is large oval punched around small oval hole)
Hands - small Heart to Heart - trim down the "thumb" side with scissors
Legs/Feet - wide Heart to Heart next to wide Heart to Heart hole - shorten the foot part (with scissors or insert into a small circle punch)
"Thing" label - 3/4 inch circle punch
Eyes - like yesterday's Cat in the Hat

Draw on face and 'thing 2' words
I did his face in very vanilla - I tried white, retired blush and bashful blue and decided vanilla was best.
Hair is Pacific Point.
Suit is Real Red.

I'm guessing you can now figure out how to make a "Thing 1"

Halloween costume tip - if you EVER see a fuzzy blue wig (maybe at Party City) nab it.  (No, don't nab it - PAY for it before you leave the store) because with that, any member of your family can be a Thing 1 or Thing 2 - all you need is a red t-shirt (which most people own) then pin a circle with the appropriate wording.

My youngest has been Thing 2 on at least 3 occasions.  With the wig, it is an EASY costume for all sizes.

Famous Feline (yep, another one)

Time for another famous kitty.

I've done Garfield, Felix, and Pink Panther but a request from Marisol of  A Touch of Sol  asking if I had ever done anything from Dr. Seuss led to this...

Now, don't go "googling" Cat in the Hat images  - you'll be disappointed in me because I am missing some parts.

His face isn't exactly right,  I didn't include his ear or mouth - but I was given some advice to "keep it simple and clean and don't drive yourself crazy" so... he is what he is.

And since I think you will like him even with his flaws, I prepared some "how to" photos.

Punch List
1 inch circle
large oval
small oval
word window
heart to heart
circle from itty bitty punch pack  (If you don't have this yet -you can use the tip of the word window)

Hat and Bow-tie first:
Neck is half of a word window (sponge with gray ink)
Bow tie is two narrow Heart to Hearts, one small Heart to Heart and the circle from the itty bitty punch pack
I recommend outlining each of these pieces with a black marker

Hat brim is a small oval punched next to a small oval hole (outline in black)
Support pieces to assemble hat - 2 word windows (can be any color)
Hat parts are three red and two white -1 inch circle punches - trim "flattish" on each side - in the photo below I show one of these on a green circle so you can see what I mean - the cuts don't need to be perfectly straight, even or exactly parallel - just relax and cut. (outline in black)
This photo show hat assembly in progress - I just ran adhesive down the word windows and overlapped each circle part slightly.
Next the face:
One Large oval and one small oval
Overlap the ovals as shown - trim off the excess on the left side of the small oval.
Add some gray sponging and outline in black (outline AFTER assembly - you don't want a line all the way around the small oval)
Now the eyes:
Punch 2 circles from the itty bitty punch pack
Stick them on the sticky part of a post-it note
Repunch as shown in the photo below.
Remove from post-it and outline in black.
Add a little "u" shape in his eyes with a fine tip maker.
Snip a TINY bit with your circle punch at the corner of a black scrap paper for his nose - this will need to be adhered with glue pen (too small for my preferred mini glue dots)
And that is all I have to say
He's ready for a day of play

Alas, there's no more silly rhyme
Because this girl's run out of time

She's back....

Yes, it is time for another installment of Guest Puncher, Joan Hargrove.

You remember Joan of the Pastor Punch and Nun Characters?

No?

Well, then you are bound to remember her from Back on the Beach which started the whole Little Miss Backsides thing?

Yes!

See?  I knew you would remember our dear Joan and her cleverness!

What you all never called me on was, that in my original post about Joan, I said she sent me 6 projects. But I haven't shown you six projects, have I?

I have been holding out on you.

Keeping good stuff to myself.

Actually, it was more a case of being disorganized and not saving all her photos to the logical spot on my computer.

So let me partially remedy this by showing you what Joan sent me for the "partial punch art" challenge I issued MONTHS ago and ONLY JOAN sent me anything.  (yes, that font is supposed to make you feel sad, blue and guilty for not even TRYING)

Joan took on the "I Dream of Jeannie" character.
I LOVE this because it reminds me of a Halloween costume my youngest wore one year...

I'd share the photos but alas, that was in my pre-digital days.  It is safely saved in the Halloween scrapbook and as I type this, it is early in the morning, and that book is in "Girl Who Moved Back Home"s bedroom.  I don't think she'd appreciate me tromping in there in the dark, tripping over an apartment's worth of stuff just to snag an old photo of her little sis.

Most Requested Punch Art

I continue to get frequent requests to finish the tutorials for the 7 Dwarfs.

I don't wanna.

The fun for me in all this is the creating not the explaining.

I have showed you Sneezy, Doc and Grumpy so I won't do separate posts for the other 4 dwarfs (boring) but I will give you some tips so you can go it on your own from the photo.

Happy is similar to Doc
leave off the glasses
add tiny scraps of white for eyebrows instead of pen marks
draw open happy mouth
eyes are pieces of big heart from Heart to Heart punch - snip off to get shape AND you will have to slim them down - making them more narrow - blacks of the eyes are just drawn on with pen/marker

Bashful is similar to Happy (above)
Beard is the same scallop oval but you don't need to trim it - just turn it lengthwise
Eyes should be trimmed even more narrow than Happy and add eyelashes, pen/marker eyebrows and mouth
I also flattened out the top of his nose with scissors

Sleepy has Sneezy's hat but the face is like Bashful (above)
except I flattened the bottom (instead of the top) of the nose
Make the eyes from blush blossom. His eyes do not have to be narrow like Bashful
add pen marks at the bottom of eyes and draw mouth
his eyebrows are slivers punched with a standard hole punch around a standard size hole.

Dopey
Sneezy style hat but point the oval up
No beard
wing from Two Step Bird for his ears
blue eyes
black pen work was too stark with those eyes so I think I just grabbed a caramel marker

You should also check out Glenda Mollets' blog HERE and scroll down - she put all my dwarfs on cards but she also added some of their bodies.  Really Cute!  She did a fabulous job.

Coyote

Back when I did Road Runner, Patti requested Coyote.
It took me awhile but I think I got pretty close.

It looks like a long list of punches but it is just 5 of them this time.
Heart to Heart, Small Oval, Word Window, Modern Label, 1 inch circle

Ears - pieces of small oval
Head - narrow Heart to Heart
Eyebrows - narrow Heart to Heart next to narrow Heart to Heart hole
Eyes - small Heart to Heart
Muzzle - Word window repunched to make shorter and piece of word window trimmed
Nose - scrap bit off my desk - you could use the tip of the word window or small oval
Chest - small oval next to small oval hole
Body - word window
Arms - wide Heart to Heart next to wide Heart to Heart hole
Hands - small oval on both ends of modern label
Leg - narrow Heart to Heart next to narrow Heart to Heart hole
Other leg - small oval next to small oval hole
Feet - small ovals trimmed by hand
Tail - 1 inch circle trimmed by hand

Draw lines on muzzle and dots for eyes.
Of course you will need an ACME box or a giant boulder or some kind of "catch Road Runner" prop for it to REALLY look like Wiley Coyote!

Try "outlining" his eyebrows and muzzle with black marker - I think they would look better but I don't have time to remake this if I'm gonna get it scheduled to post at midnight.  I'm headed to bed RIGHT NOW.

Ruh-roh...

I am bad with names and I am worse with birthdays so... I like to have an assortment of pre-made BELATED birthday cards.

Once upon a time I made the "I Forgot Elephant" and the "Forgetful Fish"  And now I give you "Ruh-roh, I forgot your Birthday!"

How to make Scooby Doo:
Head - small oval flatten a little at top and a 1 inch circle repunched with the edge of the butterfly
Ears - smallest Heart to Heart
Nose - 3/4 inch circle at corner of paper
Eyes - newest small circle in punch pack - stuck in a larger circle punch and snipped
Neck - piece of Modern Label
Body - piece of Full Heart
Front legs - Full Heart punched next to Full Heart hole (pointed end)
Paws - small oval around ends of Modern Label
Collar - 3/4 inch circle around 1/2 inch circle hole

I used Chocolate Chip, Kraft and 2 returning in-colors - Pacific Point and Tangerine Tango.  I think the current Dusty Durango ribbon still works with this so there ya go...

I tried making Scooby's back end but didn't think I got it very well so I made him a Partial Scooby Doo.

Here is a photo of my attempt - the sizing just wasn't right...

Somebody Sam

You might know this character as Yosemite Sam but that is not his name at our house.

Living close to Six Flags over Texas means we had season passes for years (too many years).  With my girls being 5 years apart, theme parks were a challenge since one was able to ride many more rides than the other.

The Yosemite Sam ride was a multi-person boat ride in a cool and dark tunnel as you move down a slow moving river watching the Warner Brother characters in a western tale.  This is the perfect "all ages" ride and quite a welcome relief from the heat.

But with the dark and the sound of "gun fire" it was scary to "kid who lives at home" when she was a little tyke.  For at least 2 summers she rode in terror with her eyes shut tight.  I finally convinced her to open her eyes at the end where she saw Sheriff Bugs had "Somebody Sam" in jail.  After that she was ready to ride!  But the name she used stuck in our family vocabulary.  I have to make a conscious effort to remember Yosemite - because Somebody Sam just pops out.

Here are his parts:
Hat - approx 2.5 inch circle trimmed
Head - black 1 inch circle
Eyebrows - narrow Heart to Heart
Eye - plus sign from NEW punch pack trimmed
Moustache - part of Full Heart
Nose - word window re-trimmed to make shorter
Ears - small Heart to Heart cut in half
Body - Full Heart trimmed
Arms - Wide oval around small oval hole
Hands - 1/2 circle at ends of modern label
Legs - 1 3/8 circle near 1 inch circle hole
belt - oval near oval hole trimmed
buckle - scrap
kerchief - standard hole punch, small Heart to Heart cut in half

and his boots are the smallest Heart to Heart - trimmed as shown
I didn't do his guns.  I don't like guns.  You are on your own for that.

Tigger Again

No, don't get all excited.  This isn't Tigger in another pose.  I'm showing you how I wound up using him.

Within 24 hours of his creation, I used Tigger for a birthday card.  Hubby's best friend Scott was having one of those "milestone" birthdays - I won't mention which one.

I made a tri-shutter card for him.  Link to tri-fold directions here. These are not hard to make and they are fun and impressive.  You can really embellish them or you can leave this card a little plainer - which is what I did since this is a "guy card".

What I did different was to make the white circle on the middle panel OPEN up to reveal the answer to my question (They are both "one of a kind")

Then I decorated some of the back of the card to add a spot for signing our names - but didn't take a photo of that.  Paper, ink, signatures... I'm pretty sure you can imagine it.

I'm also pretty sure Scott doesn't read my blog (his wife might)- but if he does he'll know how much I love him - to give up my favorite punch character EVER after having just a few hours with it.   Love ya Scotty!

T-i-double guh-err

I have had polls and questions where I ask you which of the punch art characters were your favorites - many of you have a hard time deciding.

Well, I don't have any problems deciding because THIS has to be MY favorite punch art creation EVER.

Do you want to see it?

The answer does not matter because I can't wait another minute to show this to you.

"The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is Tiggers are wonderful things
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs
They're bouncy trouncy
Flouncy pouncy
Fun fun fun fun FUN
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is I'm the only one!"

click here to hear the whole song

This won't be the ONLY one, because at least half a dozen of you will fall in love with him and make him for yourselves!

Here is the how to:
body - large oval in barely banana (retiring in June) 2 large oval in Pumpkin pie
arms - word window
hands - wide heart from heart to heart - trim to get "thumb"
legs - butterfly punch trimmed as shown in photo below
feet - 3/4 inch circle trimmed
soles of feet - shortened word window in chocolate chip
tail - modern label (make little snips in with scissors)
bottom jaw - small oval trimmed in on one side (see photo below)
inside mouth - word window piece in bravo burgundy
muzzle - 3/4 inch circle
nose - new circle (available May 1 in punch pack) in pink
head - piece of 1.25 inch circle (see photo below)
eyes - piece of 3/4 inch circle
ears - pieces of 1/2 inch circle and new circle (available May 1 in punch pack)

I outlined most of the pieces in black and scribbled on the stripes  - drew on eyes and eyebrows.

Tigger is my favorite Hundred Acre Wood citizen!  Most of them make me grin, he makes me LAUGH!

I think there is a weed in his garden...

I don't know how I'll use Rabbit - I gave him a grumpy face because that is what I remember from the videos my kids used to watch. I think he has spied a weed in his garden!

You can make him 'happier' by changing where you put the black in his eye and changing his eyebrow shape and position.  Play with it and see what you can do.

Body - 4 large ovals - white one trimmed as shown in photo below
Head - wide oval trimmed as shown
Neck - word window
Ears - small oval trimmed
Ear center - scrap cut by hand
Muzzle - edge of butterfly punch repunched with end of small oval
Nose - new circle
Feet - small oval, flat on bottom
Arms - square next to square hole
Hands - new flower from Punch Pack (available May 1) - trim some 'petals' off
Tail - 3/4 inch circle - used distressing tool to "fluff" it

The hoe was just so he'd have something to hold - you could add a carrot or flower or a pot of honey for his friend Pooh!

Oh d-d-dear-dear

"It's hard to be brave when you are a very small animal"

Piglet! I love the stammering little pink guy....

I don't exactly know why I picked this lying down pose... but you 'get what you get' around here.

This is how I plan to use him - as a title element on a Book of Me page about small things that are important.

Body - large oval - slightly curved lines drawn with marker
Arms and feet  - wide heart in heart to heart - feet are trimmed down on one side of the heart (wanted them to look smaller since they are supposed to be "behind" the rest of him in this pose)
Ears - wide heart in heart to heart snipped into two ears
Nose - new circle punch (available May 1) snipped on the bottom
Face - large oval trimmed as shown in this photo:

Chubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff...

You knew when you saw Eeyore there would be more characters from the Hundred Acre Wood, didn't you?

I've been humming the song for a couple of days   "..chubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff"

Today, of course, is Pooh.

Hardest part is his head.   It is a 1.75 circle but you have to do some trimming - like this:

Body - 1.75 circle - thinned just a TINY bit by reinserting into same punch - like this:

It had to be "thinned" to fit in the shirt.

Shirt - Butterfly  - trimmed as shown in this photo:

You have to admit this shirt is pretty genius, don't ya?

Arms - word window
Legs - wide heart in heart to heart
Ears - new circle punch (available May 1 in a punch pack)
Nose - standard hole punch
Soles of feet - piece of 1/2 inch circle punch

Draw on face, outline parts, sponge area around eyes - you need the shading for depth.  I used Crushed Curry for Pooh, Real Red for shirt, More Mustard for soles of feet, Black for nose.

Here he is - floating with his balloons...

Gloomy Guy...

"One can't complain. I have my friends.
Someone spoke to me only yesterday."

Don't just love gloomy ol' Eeyore?  I know he is described as gray in the stories, but in my kid's old VHS movies he is blue - so ballet blue (retiring in June) is what I did here.

SU really doesn't have the right size punches for his body - so I pieced some together - but you might have better results using your circle scissors plus or (gasp!) using other punches to get it bigger.

Body - 1.75 circle plus a wide oval to make his body longer (taller - whichever word you prefer)
Neck - large oval
Mane - cross hatch or plus sign looking punch (NEW in summer mini  available 5/1/10 - sold in a pack with 2 other punches)
Head - wide oval trimmed in a little on each side
Muzzle - 1 3/8 circle in apricot appeal (also retiring in June) top rounded with wide oval
Eye - small heart punch cut in half, standard hole punch
Ears - large oval cut in half (not a straight cut, kinda curvy), piece of small oval in rich razzleberry
Front leg - modern label
Back leg - large oval - trimmed in to distinguish foot
Tail - hand cut - using hole from small oval as guide
Tail hair - small heart, snipped in like grass
Bow - smallest from heart to heart and standard hole punch
Thumbtack holding tail - throwaway piece from spiral punch - trimmed the "head" down to shorten

If you are a demo you should check Belinda Johnson's StampinConnection gallery for her front facing Eeyore - she uses a round tab punch for his head.  If you aren't a demo, you are out of luck seeing this - unless of course you want to join us......  email me!
