Candy Inspiration Card

I know you are going to look at this card and think Christmas but you need to think Halloween too...

This was made for a challenge on LNS to make a card inspired by our favorite candy.  Is there any doubt here that my favorite candy is a Hersey Bar?  I did the colors and the horizontal bars of silver and I even tried to imply the little sections that the candy has with my choice of background textures.

Halloween is all about CANDY and this card is all about HERSEY BARS.  And no, I didn't eat one - but only because I didn't buy any to give away tonight.  Trust me, I can do Hersey wrappers from memory!

Happy Halloween!!!!!

I recently found your blog. I adore it. You always make me laugh. I am really seeing the Halloween theme here. Nothing says Halloween more than a Reindeer, ROFL! I love the card and now I am hungry for Hersheys. Happy Halloween.

I stayed clear of this challenge, cuz if I go buy candy, I will eat it, and I definitely don't need to
eat it. You did a great job on this one though, and I'm so happy you didn't eat the candy bar. I'm proud of you. Yes, this is definitely a Halloween card, just makes you shiver in your boots, lol. Have a great Halloween.

Love it. I just bought this SU impressions thingie. I am trying tofigure out how to do it with my Wizard. The sandwiches I am making aren't working. I just may have to ask Santa for a machine from SU.

Do you recognize Roscoe in his Halloween costume? He is dressed like a hunter. Tee Hee.

aka Roscoe's mommy

As always, this is a Gorgeous card!! I was wondering, do you spritz your cardstock with water before using your texture plates? If so, how do you know how much water to use without warping the cardstock? :)

No Judy, I don't spritz - I just add an extra layer of cardstock to my Big Shot Sandwich to get a "tighter" squeeze if I want the texture to really pop. See tomorrow's turtle post for instructions.
