Chipmunks

Kellie Paxton made a second request (don't worry, she isn't being greedy, she says it is her last for awhile).  Her husband got himself in a pickle - read this:

'I have a group of ladies that meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month. My husband, Michael goes with me. He takes pictures and helps with the projects and whatnot. Well, last month the ladies were joking with him and told him that he was welcome to bring some Chippendales with him next time.

And of course he says, "I will see what I can do".

So in all his cleverness he wants to bring Chip and Dale the chipmunks!

What do you think? Is it possible to punch chipmunks? "

Well, these are not EXACTLY those chipmunks but I hope close enough to get him a few laughs.

Here is your pictorial how to:  See photo below for which color to punch.

Row 1) Approx 2.5 inch circle from circle scissor plus for head  - large oval and 5 pt flower for ears

Row 2) 2 full hearts, 2 small ovals, 1 3/8 inch circle for eyes

Row 3) two 1.25 circle, large oval, wing from Two Step Bird, 1/2 inch circle for cheeks and nose

Row 4) two large oval, butterfly, small oval, tiny scrap for mouth

Trim as shown below....
Start your assembly...
To make the "other" chipmunk just change the nose to red and use two teeth instead of one.

The Chip and Dale cartoon I remember watching had them being brought into Mickey's house in a Christmas tree he chopped down, then they ran around in the tree moving ornaments as he decorated.  So I did this layout and will use it for photos of decorating our tree.  (not printed yet)

Great job. The chipmunks were my favorite. I'm glad you did this. I hope you still continue with Disney friends. My husband & I went to Disney World for our vacation few years ago. We took many pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Dear Ellie, I will only attempt your llama if you tell me your story about how it became your stamping mascot. I like to be entertained while I'm punching. You can email me - link in sidebar.

(mean, aren't I?)

This is great, I love coming to your blog, you definitely give me a smile every time. They are so life-like and the sizes of their cheeks is so clever of you as they depict the nuts they taking back to their den. Tku!

My hubby may shoot me for sharing this, but I have a great story to go with this. One day we were getting dressed to go someplace and I jokingly said, "Come on, honey, do a Chippendale dance for me" (he's NOT a dancer by any means). He said no, but I kept pestering him so he finally agreed.

He then proceeded to hop from foot to foot and sing-song something like "I'm Chip! I'm Dale" We're happy chipmunks here!" AND HE WAS SERIOUS!!! He had NO idea what I meant by a Chippendale dance! I started laughing so hard I could hardly catch my breath! So of course, I had to send your pictures and story on to him... What a riot!

Your punch art is absolutely adorable, I love these chipmonks! My 10 year old is seriously into Alvin and the Chipmonks and wanted me to ask you if you could do Alvin and the chipmonks or the Chipettes from the most recent movie.

Thanks for sharing all of your creations.
