So happy to have my beloved ornament punch back in the current punch drawer!
I'm loving trying punch characters in ACTION poses!
Would you like to know the punches I used to make this big boob bee-hive bowler?
Eh?
What?
I couldn't hear what you said with the noise of pins crashing in the bowling alley. I'll assume you said "yes"...
Hair - wide oval bee hive, 1.75 circle bangs - cut then snipped with small star
Head band - 1.75 circle offset from 1.75 hole
Head - beloved ornament
Ears - word window
Earrings - standard hole punch around smallest crop-a-dile hole
Eyes - small heart, standard hole punch - make sure white is showing around the black if you want the "surprised" happy look
Nose - standard hole punch
Mouth - small oval offset from large oval hole
Tongue - small oval punched with heart to heart
Neck - word window
Chest - small oval
Shirt - butterfly, wide oval trimmed flat at bottom
Sleeves - small ovals
Her right arm (your left) word window, flower trio (trimmed)
Her left arm (your right) wide heart to heart
Legs - large ovals trimmed flat at bottom
Ankles - medium arrow My Way Arrows
Socks - piece of word window
Shoes - piece of word window, slot punch stripes
And don't worry - there is no 4th Lady Bowler - that would have to have been a "rear" view and while it would be funny, I'm not going there. Promise.
so tell me...
Which of the bowling ladies did you like best?
A) side view
or
B) semi-self portrait
Bowler B) is a semi-self portrait because it half (semi) looks like me
and
that chest is about the size of a Semi (truck) - that is definitely the part that DOESN'T look like me.
or
C) front view
I'll have a poll for voting.
Poll results are in:
61% prefer the front view (in pink)
The other two bowlers were tied at 18% each
and one voter doesn't love any of them.
It is that famous lyric... "You can't please everyone so ya got to please yourself"
My fave was the fat lady. She makes me grin EVERYTIME I look at her.

Ellen, I couldn't vote for just one of them... I LOVE them all!!! They each have their own personality and look like my friends... and we don't even bowl...
You are too amazing! Just love these!!!!
Patricia
Hmmm....hart decision. The first one has the perfect bowl pose. But the third one is my favorite. She just looks gorgeous.
Have a nice weekende.
Hugs
Gaby
I love them all, I can't pick just one! You are truely amazing with an amazing talent. Thank you for sharingall you do with us .
I love your blog it makes me smile, and laugh you can't put a price on that.
Lovin' them all!!!!
How do I choose? (I didn't make you choose between your children!!! lol) I like certain things about all of them.. my favorite pose is #1, love how #2 resembles 75% of the body types out there, teehee, and love the colors, face and cuteness of #3. The glasses rock. The action poses are awesome, no clue how you come up with this stuff.
I am in awe of your talent!! WOW!! Such great creations, but I LOVE (C). I have seen that so many times at the ally!! Thanks for your awesome inspiration!! Blessings to you!
Wow! All of these are just great! I admire someone who can look at a punch and see so many possibilities. The other day I was behind a car though and thought "those tail lights look just like a word window with a slot punch in the center" so maybe you're rubbing off on me!
Anyway, I think bowler #3 is my favorite. She's just my style!
YES Kristi!!! - I dub you a punch addict if you are thinking like that!
First you realize you're dressing in "certainly celery" instead of green THEN you see punch shapes in tail lights! It is a natural progression... don't fight it.
I too found it very difficult to vote for just 'one', they are all fantastic. But alas, I voted for the front view, because she reminds me of Shirley in Lavern & Shirley. Didn't know if that was what you were going for, of course at this point you can say 'yeah, you found me out!' haha!
I love your blog and checking it every morning is almost my favorite part of the day. You are amazinly talented! I love them all but my favorite is the front view.
They are all beyond creative and so unique in their own way! I, too, am amazed at your creativity with punches... and I thank you for sharing your creativity with those of us who are more punch challenged (as in, "it's a butterfly punch - so I'll punch butterflies from it").
But I think the front pose is my favorite. It may be because of her cool colored shoes and matching earrings, or it might be her pink shirt, but she gets my vote!
Every time you post something I think oh this is the best - and then the next group comes along.........you are amazing........love the bowlers!
Am I the only one who voted for the first one?!?!?!
I couldn't decide, because each of them are special in their own way. They are so full of life! I really enjoy coming to your blog everyday to see what new punch art you have next. I do enjoy your scrapbook pages, too. (I am anonymous because I can't remember my google account password.) Sue Bishop
oh Ellen how mean of you to make us all chose one!! LOL I love them all...but I did vote like a good girl...I chose B....I can relate to her figure....snicker. I have to agree with Jayne...you are BEYOND creative..you're amazing.....and Jayne, when I saw the butterfly punch I thought.."hmm how blah" and didn't buy it until Ellen showed me just how fun it would be to have it...lol
Your groupies love you Ellen :o)
Keep on surprising us!
Being a teacher, of course my favorite is the teacher! You are TOO creative!!
I'll vote for bowler B. ADORABLE.
